The Bass Museum of Art located at 2100 Collins Avenue in Miami Beach is a quaint art museum that specializes in art from around the world, everything from modern art to the Renaissance. Vessels are handmade objects used to carry liquid for human consumption and the gallery features receptacles from various geographic locations.
The TIME Collection presents a selection of objects and artists’ projects, historical and contemporary artworks, that engage ideas of time. The fascinating exhibit explores the subject of time through a number of different means including apparatuses for measuring time in the form of several historical clocks along with artwork that explores the transformative nature of time.
The courtyard of the Bass Museum of Art is the perfect place for a bit of relaxation with an open-air patio. The museum hosts a monthly evening of art and cocktails named Beats After Sunset which occurs the first Friday of every month and is a great way to meet other art aficionados and enjoy great music.
