As soon as I heard about the Homes for Heroes program I knew immediately I wanted to be involved. Giving back to the heroes is something I feel very passionate about. My father served in the United States Army during the Korean War and later spent over 30 years serving the community as a teacher.
For the past several years I have been an active volunteer with the troops at Walter Reed Medical Center and Fort Belvoir. After spending time with the Wounded Warriors I truly understand the sacrifices they make for us each and every day. Their commitment is amazing!! I currently serve on the board for “Serve Our Willing Warriors”, a 501(c)(3) which is an organization that serves our local recovering soldiers.
The Homes for Heroes program allows me to leverage my 12 years of banking expertise with my core values of providing top notch financial advice you can trust. I am honored to be an integral part of helping our local heroes finance the home of their dreams and saving hundreds or thousands of dollars in the process. It is my way of saying thank you to all the Military, Firefighters, Police Officers, Teachers, Doctors, Nurses and First Responders for the extraordinary service they demonstrate every day. I feel very blessed to be part of such a special program.
