It is after 1:00 AM and I can hear the highway truck taking care of the road. The precipitation over the last several hours was mixed, rain, ice and snow. Just imagine how treacherous driving would be tomorrow morning, so it is comforting to know these workers are out there monitoring the road condition while many are enjoying a good night sleep.
Nice shout out to those that take case of our roadways, actually throughout the year.

A well deserved cudo to those who work all kinds of hours in all kinds of weather to insure the safety of the roads for all of us.
These folks are probably under appreciated for all they do in bad weather when most would rather be in their warm beds!
Here in Philly it was just rain but Sunday we are under a weather advisory .What would we do without clear roads
We had the same weather Jennifer. I think they have the streets clear now so I will be heading out soon. Stay safe.
Jennifer we take the work that is done to make the roads safer for granted many times. We need to show are appreciation a lot more often.
