We are in the planning stages for our Second Annual Gingerbread House Decorating Party, here is a video of last year.

The Gingerbread House Decorating Party Was A Success!

The weather outside was fright-full, the snow had been falling all night long, we had 3 to 7 inches of fresh snow on the ground depending on where you were coming from and still had two thirds of the families trudge their way to our house for our First Annual Gingerbread House Decorating Party for Clients Children.

So here we go, all the houses are lined up, candies are placed at each seat along with apple juice for when they get thirsty and then organizing the extra candy on the "Candy Table" so if something else is needed it is nearby.

I believe we had about a dozen children and one very big boy decorating Gingerbread Houses.  I am very impressed with the creativity they demonstrated in choosing how to decorate.  We had a Church (by the very big boy who also wore the red suite...) a Skating Rink with Penguin's in it to a Hockey Goal on the back of the fully decorated house. Here, take a look!

Each and every Gingerbread House that these Children made are works of art.  About the time they were finishing up we heard the familiar sound of jingle bells in the living room and who did appear but Santa himself and Mama Claus bearing gifts and candy canes for all who attended...

The Children had a blast, the Adults enjoyed themselves and jumped in to help when the kids needed help and the floor stayed cleaner than I expected it to...

Thanks to my Agent Janice Soard for baking all the Gingerbread Houses, her Mother "Mama Claus" for being herself, Mama Claus, and her Nephew who donned the Red Suit and did a wonderful job with the children and adults alike!  Jeff I hope you will come back next year!

I can't say enough good things about my Marketing Assistant Mandi Null who jumps in at every opportunity to do whatever needs doing! From sewing Gingerbread Men out of felt, decorating them, stuffing and hanging them in the windows, to setting up, photo taking, clean up and keeping me heading in the direction of whatever I needed to be doing.  She is my Blessing! And then Mandi and one of my other Agents Kim Stanley and my wonderful husband Larry cleaned it all up while I sat in the Living Room talking to Clients...

So, until next year when we do this again, remember how much fun you had and enjoy your Gingerbread House!
