The Aftermath of Christmas! Don't turn Happiness into a tragedy
The excitement of Christmas to children explodes when it's time to open the presents. In our family, my wife and I buy for each other, but all the adults decided to only buy for the children. When you have a large family, the cost of gift giving Can be overwhelming. Christmas is not just about what gifts everyone will buy you, although it is for many of the Children.
When it is all over and you have a pile of wrappings, the local police recommend that you cut up boxes, such as TVs, stereos etc.. as there are thieves roaming the neighborhoods looking at your trash cans. Then when convenient, they burglarize your home and all those presents become their presents. Don't make it easy for them to see what you have. Try to wit until the last minute before putting your trash and boxes by the curb. If you have trash pickup on Monday, don't put it out days in advance. It gives thieves ample time to go through your trash.
