Goodbye 2013-Hello 2014!
Another year has come to an end and like everyone else my eyes are turned toward the new year with high hopes and expectations, but 2013 pulls on my heartstrings a bit.
As everyone knows the last few years have been challenging for businesses and none more than real-estate. 2013 brought about some much needed relief from the gloom and breathed life back into our industry.
The good news is that if you are still in the business you are probably a better agent than you have ever been.
Adversity forces us to look into ourselves and see what our clients see and make changes where there needs to be change, to hone our skills or learn new ones. Maybe you have learned more about short-sales and foreclosures or maybe you have become better at pricing your listings so they are more competitive in the market or for some agents working on their buyer skills has added to their business, whatever skills you have acquired during these last few years 2013 has allowed you to use them. We can look to 2014 knowing we can meet the challenge and we are better for it!
What did you learn this year? How are you going to better serve your clients in 2014?
