The residential property tax rates for greater Boston towns like Franklin, MA have fluctuated over the past few years but continue to remain relatively affordable when compared against surrounding towns.  Many prospective buyers don’t consider tax rates when house hunting but the cost of living in one town vs. another can be significant from a tax standpoint.
