"Real" Estate Agents are "Real" People

When you, as a "real" person that wants to sell or buy some "real" estate, calls a "real" estate agent, you are talking to a "real" person.

"Real" Estate agents have "real" feelings, "real" families, "real" obligations to take care of. Being a "real" estate agent is a "real" job or career choice to them. The "real" estate agent is in business to help "real" people just like you to reach their "real" estate goals.

"Real" Estate agents spend their hard earned "real" money to take courses to be a "real" estate agent. "Real" Estate Agents spend their finite limited "real" time to take care of their "real" clients so please don't waste thier time if you're not "really" serious about buying, selling, leasing, renting "real" estate!

Have I made my point yet?

If you talk to a "real" estate agent on the phone, remember that they are "real" people.. be couteous just as you would to any other professional. Treat their time, concern, etc with "real" respect.

I think so often we're thought of as a means to an end and not a real person. I can't tell you how many calls I get from people wanting me to show them some home or other, only to find out they have an agent. When asked why they didn't call that person, they say, "I didn't want to bother him/her."

Hi Judi, Nice play on words. I worked with a favorite past client today on a large project and there was no mistake, they treated me like "real" family and it just doesn't get any better than that. I think I smiled the whole day and did as well again when I wrote this. I can't ever remember being disrespected by a prospect or a client. I think because I smile a lot and enjoy helping anyone who needs help. The universe has always been good to me.

Judi, It means a ton to me when a client realizes and respects that we are REAL people with time demands of our own, that's it's okay for Sunday morning to be off-limits, that maybe we'd rather not be showing homes on a holiday, etc. Just the fact that they recognize that is HUGE.
