Weltanschauung
As part of the 2014 BIG Blog Jumpstart challenge, one thing that we need to review is the Active Rain Weltanschauung and discuss one of the principles. The one that stands out to me is #6, which posted below:
This editorial independence basically says that any philosophy within the real estate realm that you want to pursue is fine and dandy. Be it full service, limited service, exclusive buyer representation, etc... you can expound the virtue of your viewpoint and explain it to others. That is not to say that you may not be challenged in your viewpoint, others may disagree and that is OK and even encouraged. Stand up for what you believe, but be sure to listen to differing opinions... you may even want to alter yours after the community has reflected on your original thoughts through the eyes of hundreds or thousands of other experiences and beliefs. Let ideas flow irregardless of where they take us, as long as it is to the advantage of the community as a whole.
