In Washington State it's pothole season, how will it effect my sale?

When you do a neighborhood review; how thorough are your clients?

I met my clients in front of their dream house. They had many questions;

  • About schools
  • About neighbors
  • About flight patterns
  • About easements

I was surprised that not one question was about street maintenance or car devouring potholes. The street reminded me of streets in a war torn country in the middle east.

Potholes really can ruin your whole day but few people or clients ask who fixes them and how many times will your car find them. This a great question to ask when reviewing this neighborhood. The city says they don't have the money at this time...

I hit this beauty on to the way to my meeting and I have an appointment with my auto shop this morning...

Paul, We have some similar streets here, and the same issue, no $$$ to fix them.

Barbara~ A road hazard, as the city calls it, shall be noted within 2 days after it is reported. The city assumes no responsibility and because the funding and manpower is limited, my report will be added to the repair list...

BLiz~ Our pothole season came too early this year! Note the white paint around the pothole pictured, I believe this was reportrd before.

GOOD MORNING PAUL - thank goodness it is not just Tucson - buying 60k tires in Tucson are a waste - they only make it 30k the roads are so bad and filled with potholes and cracks- gives me something to think about next time I am out with clients!
