I was traveling around last week checking out some property just south of Sherwood, Michigan and on the road back I turned a corner and took this photo. It is a birch tree with some snow on it against a blue sky. The leaves are of course gone for the winter, but the white bark was quite beautiful.
It is right now 4 degrees outside here in Michigan where I am at and our hgh today is expected to be 10 degrees.
Even we were in the single digits this morning with wind chills below ZERO! YUK!
Would hate to think what it would be like without global warming........

Hi Michael, We don't have trees like this out here in Southern Ca because they need the change of seasons and we are 75 degrees today with 80's expected all weekend. So you get to keep the beautiful trees and the temps that cause them to be so beautiful in the summer.

I just read what William wrote and that is probably why I never see them here either. White Burch are so popular this year; I see them in adds, window displays and pictures for sale. They are so fasinating and would love to see an entire lane of them. Thanks for sharing such a pretty picture with a nice blue sky.
