Each year of the X-Games is capped off with the "main event" if you can make that statement since every event is packed full of excitement and drama, as well as incredible tricks or athleticism but you cant argue that the Mens Superpipe for snowboard has enough draw it consumed the final 2hrs of tv time for the X-Games.
This year did not let down. With the absence of Shaun White as he is prepping for the Olympic Games first timer, and Olympian, Danny Davis impressed with precision and style as he posted a 95 to take home Gold in his first ever X-Games final.
Louie Vito was a guest commentator and participant and posted a very strong 93 to take silver and rounding out the podium was Greg Bretz and his opening run of a 89.33 for bronze.
Again what can you say to see it on TV is one thing but to truly understand what they are doing and the risks involved is amazing!
The 2014 Winter X-Games may be over but there is already great expectations and anticipation for 2015!
See you there!
