Target the right buyer for your home. Staging in Burlington

By
Home Stager

I did a consult in a small townhouse complex recently.

The clients were empty nesters.

One of the first things I asked them was what age groups their neighbors fit into.

Why? Because I wanted their home to 'speak' to the correct group of buyers.

Staging is about helping buyers see themselves living in the home.

It turned out that the complex was full of empty nesters and professionals ... no children. That fit with the design of the units.... two bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, great room and loft area.

What sort of features will this group of buyers want? Home office? Den area? A great room capable of entertaining? Guest bedroom?

The basics will be followed of course .... highlight the space in each room .... show off the storage .... flood it with natural light .... show off the patio area ....

Each area will be Staged to appeal to their target market.

Janice - I am glad you mentioned the target market when you talk about staging.  Understanding the wants and needs of your buyers will lead to a faster sale.

Janice, A staged home does need to speak to the target market. Knowing the complex is filled with professionals and no children is massively helpful to you in staging the home.

Yes it will Grant. A lot of the process is so visual. Those pictures have to appeal to just the right buyer.
