MRC, Murphy Realty Connection turns 4 in 2014. Although February was the official 4 year anniversary the celebration itself will be held during the March 2014 meet up. It seems like only yesterday that we celebrated MRC's first anniversary. Few things have changed over the years as MRC grew but it all points to its popularity of the benefit it offers to the local agents. Most all of the charter members remain active with the group which is a good indication of its huge success. New members have joined and new members are always welcomed.
One of the group's guidelines to be considered as an active member with the option to show your listings is that you must be present for 8 of the 12 monthly meetings. That's not been too difficult given that for most of Murphy Realty Connection, MRC' s meetings have been hosted at Standard Pacific's model home in Maxwell Creek, a popular neighborhood in Murphy. Last November was Standard Pacific's final opportunity to host our meetings as they closed out their last building phase in Murphy.
K Hovnanian Homes hosted MRC's January meet up but it was Grand Homes in McCreary Creek Estates that offered an ongoing meeting place. McCreary Creek Estates is located in the city of Parker which borders the city of Murphy on the North and Northeast sides. During our February meetup we toured some of the models Grand Homes offers and they truly are grand homes. The kitchen pictures included here are from the Grand Homes in McCreary Creek Estates.
Murphy Realty Connection, MRC was formed to assist local agents in the Murphy area by offering home tours accompanied by a group of other local agents. It's a great incentive for sellers and spotlights homes available for buyer agents. If that's not enough to peak your realty interest then the lunches provided by the local home builders should wet your appetite. They have also been known to offer up some really nice gifts from their drawings as well.
