Another Book Review...The Hunger Games...

By
Real Estate Agent with Aubrey and Associates Realty

I have had some wait time the past few days, so I was able to finish reading another book much more quickly than I had planned.  I will admit I read the Hunger Games mainly because of Darcy's urging.  We had seen both of the first two movies, so I generally don't like to read books which have been made into movies if I have seen the movie.

Much to my surprise, I found reading the Hunger Games an entertaining and enjoyable read.  I know that the series was written for a much younger audience, but there are some underlying plot twists which I found very interesting.  Once again the Hunger Games is a series written by Suzanne Collins.  I think that I will read the entire series.  Anyway, I did find out that if the book is good, it will entertain readers from all ages!  Have a great day!

While I haven't read the Hunger Games books, I have seen the two movies which were released.  My granddaughter is an avid reader of the books.  While I loved the first movie, the second one was so action packed, and without any momentary relief.
When we left the theater, my muscles were almost seized.  It took us awhile to get our emotions and nervous system back in whack.  Thank goodness for the pizza afterward.  My granddaughter said the second book was her favorite, but the movie didn't measure up to the book.

Rob, Thanks for stopping by!  Have a great night yourself!

Myrl, The second movie was pretty intense, Darcy told me that they only included a portion of what happened in the book in the movie.  Have a great night!

Tony, I've heard of the Hunger Games but haven't seen the movie nor have I read the book. Once I have read a book im usually disappointed in the movie though.

Silvia, That is usually the case. Movies just don't have the time to get into the details like a book does.

Tony,

I love to read, I just do not have the time to read, but I just finished reading Separation of Power by Vince Flynn. I love his books!
