Seth Godin posted the following on his blog a few days ago:

Persistence
Persistence isn't using the same tactics over and over. That's just annoying.
Persistence is having the same goal over and over.

Seth has an amazing ability to say so much with so little. If you have not yet read his book, "The Dip" I highly recommend it. He is one of the great marketing minds of our times and the information applies to just about any industry.

Alex, Persistence is definately key in todays market if you're smack dab in the middle of the distressed markets, that's for sure. I'd also say that Persistence goes hand in hand with having the passion to seek what it is your after.
