I was introduced to the Military family as a Navy spouse in 1983, my high school sweetheart came back for me! We started out in South Carolina and as you know, "home is where the Navy sends you". After many travels to and fro, we wound up right back in the Charleston, SC area where my Boatswain mate retired. In 1998, I finally decided to follow my passion which included helping other military families with the tools, I felt, were needed when I was doing my many "home moves". Not just helping others but I feel more of a connection whenever I help one of my fellow heroes, I can relate. Real Estate is one of the most fulfilling careers you could have and people actually love you for it! When I first heard of Homes for Heroes, I was excited to know that there was a program that I could join and give back to the many heroes who give back every day. Your commitment to serving those who serve us every day fit perfectly with my own personal and business values. Also, understanding first-hand the sacrifices Heroes make each day, I could not turn down the opportunity. Some people may feel that it is a sacrifice to help in such a way, my thoughts are, I could never sacrifice as much as you Heroes do every day. My hat goes off to you!
