Almost Wordless Sunday- Commemorative Air Force Open House

I posted two items one in detail and a reminder about the Commemorative Air Force Open House. The event continues today Sunday April 13, 2014. I attended yesterday and there was a large turnout of folks and many things to see, experience and take pictures. we even had a visit and speech from General Patton. I believe many of this nations politicians need to hear his speech to the crowd. I wish I would have had my video camera and equipment as I would have captured the speech in a video.

Sacramento once had two active Air Force Bases (Mather and McClellan). Sadly both closed in the early 1990s. However, we do have an air show at Mather each year, and it is always a great event for the community. Your Open House sounds like a delightful thing for your area, Bob!
