With the Red Rock Resort & Casino, the (New) Shops at Summerlin and Red Rock Canyon there is a reason people are very interested in living in this area.

There are (New Home) Communities popping up all over the Red Rock Summerlin area, and these homes are beautiful.

Why would anyone want to purchase a resale home that has either been flipped, gone through a foreclosure, etc, when you can purchase a (New Home) in the Red Rock Summerlin area?

Nice post Bob. Home buying consumers need this type of information. I've never heard of this area but if I were a home buyer in Las Vegas I would certainly check Red Rock Summerlin out! I agree that buying a flipped house can have it's problems. I just sold a flipped house here and the walls had just been painted but fortunately I noticed that there was a stain on the newly painted wall at the baseboard and we detected a leak coming through from the water heater in the garage. New paint on a re-habbed home needs to be carefully observed!

Hello Jane ... Thanks for stopping by and you are so right! There are still many homes in Las Vegas Nevada that are sold (AS IS). Personally I think it's safer and a better investment to just pay a little more and purchase a (New Home). The next time you visit Las Vegas, take a drive out to Red Rock Canyon and take a look. It's only 2o minutes from the Las Vegas "Strip"
