About Parker
Welcome to the town of Parker, a great place to call home located just southeast of Denver. Parker really is a wonderful place--in fact, it was even recognized by Money Magazine as being one of the best places to live in 2013. Because of it's location about 30 minutes away from Denver, Parker is primarily a commuter town subdivision, but there is also plenty to do around town too!
The Parker Recreation Facility is conveniently located and is a great place. There are all sorts of fitness classes available, exercise equipment and an indoor pool. There is also an outdoor inline hockey rink and the nearby Challenger Regional Park has three lighted ball fields, a children’s playground and several multipurpose sports fields! For some fun in the sun, be sure to check out H2O'Brien Pool, a fun place to spend the day enjoying the water slides and splashing around! The Cherry Creek Trail runs north and south through Parker, along Cherry Creek--the trails are a great place to enjoy bicycling, hiking, cross country skiing and relaxing nature walks.
What About The Schools?
Parker is located within The Douglas County School District boundary lines. Douglas County is one of the highest ranked school districts in Colorado, with students performing higher than the state average. While there is a bit of a rivalry between the 2 main high schools (Ponderosa and Chaparral) it's all in good fun, and each year the schools compete for the Pride of Parker Trophy. Along with the numerous elementary and middle school options, there are also several private and charter schools within Parker that allow each family to select an educational environment that best suits their family.

Most of the homes available in the Parker area are single family homes starting around $200,000, with homes going into multi-millions available if you're in the market for a luxury home. That being said, there are condos and townhomes available as well. These homes tend to start around $100,000 and can go up all the way to mid $500s.
