About a month ago a hands free while driving law went into effect here in Utah. That means you're breaking the law to manipulate your cell phone while driving a vehicle. I probably should have prefaced that opening by saying I have never been a fan of the in the ear Blue Tooth devices. Anyway back to where I was going with this.
The law state that you can hold the phone to your ear, but you really can't do more than that. I don't know about anyone else, but that really didn't work. I will admit that I have on occasion been a distracted driver, trying to find a number. I have never really gotten into texting, so texting and driving hasn't been an issue, just the looking at my phone while trying to find a number.
I don't know about anyone else, but I don't like to get tickets. I hate paying them! So I went out and purchased the Plantronics Voyager Legend. I love it! It set around your ear, like an old styled hearing aid, but it has a soft rubber cup that inserts inside of your ear. (I have a hard time hearing the over the ear models). It also has a very good noise cancelling mic, people can't even tell that I am talking to them with it.
Like most devices it is voice activated and can call numbers from your contacts. You can also decline calls. What I am saying is that I really like this device! In fact I prefer making calls with it even when I am not driving so that I can use my hands for something else, like writing a blog or an email or, well, you get the idea. I do recommend the Plantronics Voyager Legend. And for those who carry two phones, you can attach a second phone to this and it works just like the first phone.
I really like it, and it hasn't seem too hot to keep it in. Who knows once it really starts to get really hot, but then when that happens, my hair seems too hot to continue wearing! Just kidding, anyway, have a great day!
