Holidays are a very busy time on the roads.
With the 4th falling on a Friday it makes for some longer weekends and more people are on the roads.
Please, take a few extra minutes to get where you are going and get there safe.
The alternative will not only make you later but it will ruin the weekend for a lot of people.

Amen, it is a dangerous weekend, especially in those northern tourist areas.
Hi William -- it seems many people left town on Wednesday -- it's as if it was a truly short week with the "official" holiday falling on Friday -- safe travels to all those on the road.
I agree. There is nothing like a big accident to spoil a weekend, whether you are in it or just see it!
Every one I know came through the holiday all in one piece. I am thankful for
