Trivia 282

I want this to be information one just usually doesn’t hear.  If you have I would like to know if you haven’t all the better you’ve learned something today.  With that being said here is the information for you to consider today.

So with the anniversary of the movie “Jaws” I found a fact I thought you may want to know.  Do you realize two-thirds of shark attacks takes place in water less and I say again less than six feet deep?  Well you do now.

Now go out and tell the world of your new found knowledge.  Smile it will make people wonder what you’ve been up to.  Join us tomorrow for another journey into the wonderful world of Wordsmith.  Click on the link below.  Who knows you may learn something along the way and some of the words may even bring a smile to your face.

I live near the beach and I am always aware of the potential. I guess sharks are chasing the fish near the shore and fish, legs, arms...look he same I guess!

Good morning james, one of the reasons is that they are chasing bait fish that tend to run close to the shore. It's a Florida fact!

Since I am only 5-feet, I would still be underwater in 6-feet of water during a shark attack, so I don't know if it matters if they typically attack at 6-feet or 60-feet to me, I'll still be doing the dog paddle as fast as I can.

James- I am very aware of that!  There are residents in the condos who will report shark sightings to the lifeguards.  Loved Donald Urschalitz  comment!
