• Goldfish notes: "You're O-FISH-ally in ___ grade" Get your kids excited with this cute and yummy snack in their lunch box. Surprise them on the first day of school, or as an after school snack. Also might work with Swedish fish as a sweet snack. 

• Ruler Wreath: Snazz up your front door with this cute wreath. Easy to make, and useful as well! 

 What's Up in the Triangle - August Edition  

Enjoy the rest of the summer in the Triangle and all NC has to offer in August. From seeing "The Little Mermaid" Live to learning about Science at Sunset, The Southern Bridal Show, dancing the night away listening to Carolina beach music, and watching Caddyshack at the NC Museum of Art... there's a whole lot of summer left, and a whole lot to see and do in the Triangle!

Imagine Cary Announcement

Via the Town of Cary: 

It's not too late to have your say about Cary's future!  If you missed last month's Community Choices Workshops, you now have the opportunity to access the same information and participate in the same surveys online!  During the month of August, we encourage you to weigh in on our community's direction for the next 25 years, by examining information and completing the online surveys at www.imaginecary.org!  These web-based surveys include most of the materials and questions from last month's Community Choices Workshops, as featured on the front page of last week's July 30 edition of The Cary News.

The online Community Choices Surveys concern the future paths that our community might follow related to housing, employment locations, shopping destinations and mixed-use commercial centers, and development of Cary's southwest (Green Level) area.  The web-based experience includes infographics, general survey questions and policy options.  The surveys will be available online through August 31.   Citizen feedback will be used to ensure that the Town's long-range policy direction reflects the community's vision.  

To access the surveys, visit www.imaginecary.org and click on "Take the Surveys" from the homepage animation.

The online surveys offer you an opportunity to:

• Provide critical input regarding future housing needs in Cary;
• Provide valuable input about the types of employment areas needed for our future;
• Share your opinions about preferred types of shopping and dining areas, or mixed use areas;
• Offer your suggestions about the future growth of Southwest Cary - the Green Level area.
