South Shore Cares presents its 7th Annual Walk-A-Thon here in Apollo Beach! South Shore Cares is a charity commitee of Keller Williams Realty South Shore in Apollo Beach and Sun City Center. Started in 2008, South Shore Cares has participated in this event benefiting local charities in the community.

Shelter: Emergency & transitional housing delivered with respect.
Support: Advocacy, health/nutrition and parenting support. Success: Job skills training, computer literacy and tutoring.
Mary & Martha House cares for battered and homeless women and children of all ages. Rather than focusing on women who are chronically homeless, Mary & Martha House strives to reach the growing number of women who are recently homeless or in danger of becoming homeless. These women need a safe environment and support services that will help them develop or re-establish personal and economic resources.
