On Becoming a Millionaire

Just a few comments to becoming a millionaireThis is the day that I become a millionaire. I have been watching others achieve this big milestone and wondered if I would ever arrive. It seemed so distant 2 years ago when I really started being consistent in my blogging.

There has been so much talk lately about the point system and whether it should have changed or whether we should have it all. If it weren't for points I wouldn't be able to be a millionaire. All it cost me was time.

Points are fun and they are a measure of dedication and interaction. But the real point of it all (yes, a pun iss intended) is the information that is shared to build business and the relationships we build with ActiveRain members. I will be the first to admit I blog for business and when business comes from my blogging it gives me a huge rush. That is happening more and more lately. A big thank you goes to Bob Stewart and AR University. Every webinar I takes helps me learn how to get the word out or format my blogs in a better way.

I love hearing from my AR friends through comments, emails and phone calls. I know by reading their blogs if things are going well and life is good or if they need an encouraging word. I also know when I haven't seen them in awhile that I need to reach out. It's called a community, a network, a family. One thing for sure, I would miss not being able to see my AR friends in the blog rolls and being able to share my thoughts with them. You see, I am somewhat addicted.

So today is the day. I am rich beyond measure and ActiveRain is one of the reasons.
