What's the Neighborhood Like?

Olympic Valley real estate is made up of 15 small subdivisions making up approximately 600 homesites offering something for everyone. Many homes were built in the mid to late 1950's leading up to the 1960Olympics and are smaller eclectic cabins, most of which offer views of the ski resort. A good portion of these original Lake Tahoe cabins have been torn down or expanded in order to facilitate custom mountain lodges that many buyers desire. Over the last 15 years 6 new subdivisions have been developed in Olympic Valley in order to facilitate the demand for people who want to build their own custom mountain homes. These new subdivisions are known as Squaw Summit, Homesites at Squaw Creek, Squaw Peak, Creekside Estates, Painted Rock, and Hidden Lake.
