Schuylkill County Hazardous Waste Disposal 2014

By
Real Estate Appraiser with Schuylkill Appraisal Services

Schuylkill County is currently hosting its annual Fall Cleanup and Recycling event to collect waste tires and electronic materials. There will be various collection sites throughout the county through Saturday September 27, 2014. Also, Schuylkill County will sponsor a collection of household hazardous wastes in November. This will be the first free household hazardous waste disposal program that is open to all residents in the county.

The collection provides a way to properly dispose of old, unusable and unwanted hazardous products. Putting them in the trash or down the drain contributes to the pollution of air and drinking water.
