By
Real Estate Broker/Owner with Hector And Associates 01832572

This is a sad day but also a big reminder that our occupation can be dangerous, even deadly, and it is always best to have several safety measures in place to limit these types of things from happening.

This is so sad and quite scary in our line of work.  I just saw the news story in my Facebook feed.  I pray for her and her family that she is found safe.  This is also a reminder for myself and my team to use safety precautions when showing homes.  Thanks for blogging about it.

Safety is important however sometimes a sale is seen to be more important than safety.  We have to be aware of our surroundings at all times and never get into a situation that there is no escape route available.  Situational awareness and safety are more important than any sale can ever be.

Hi Hector,  That's one thing that is always in the back of our minds as we tour strange neighborhoods and meet strange people.  If at all possible, we try to go in pairs when we show homes for the first time.
