Yesterday I surprised my girls with tickets to Frozen on Ice at the Baltimore Arena. Perhaps you can imagine what such a surprise means for a 5 and 9 year old. Yep, my ears are still ringing from their happy screams.
Both dressed in style for the occasion - my oldest was one of many Elsa's at the show but, no doubt, one of the cutest.
Disney on Ice: Frozen was a fantastic show, very well done. Little girls laughed about Olaf and Sven, called out to Elsa and Anna to get their attention and were quite in awe when it started to snow. And when Elsa twirled all over the ice to "Let it go", every little girl in the arena was trying to "Let it go", too. A true goose bump moment.
I can't post my own little video but here's a little sneak peek of the Marshmallow ice monster courtesy of Inside the Magic:
My only complaint has absolutely nothing to do with the show but all with the insane prices for food, drinks and merchandise. $12 for a little plastic cup with Elsa on it and a scoop of Italian ice, $14 for cotton candy that came with a (cheap) tiara. Really? I would have loved to round out the experience for my girls with a little treat but I just can't justify paying that kind of money after spending $150 on 3 tickets and $20 for parking. We let it go.
