To Succeed in Real Estate - Follow the MAPP

By
Real Estate Agent with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices - C. Dan Joyner 21498

To succeed in real estate, just follow the MAPP.

Marketing - Marketing of your listings as well as yourself is key! Make sure you have a plan in place that you can follow for every property.

Attitude - You must always keep a positive attitude. This will not only put your clients at ease, but will help you as well!  With a positive attitude, you can weather the ups and downs with enthusiasm and confidence.

Preparation - Make sure to prepare for your day ahead of time. Just like when you were in school, you must do your homework! Be prepared for the presentation when listing a home and prepared by knowing the properties you are showing to a buyer. Also, make sure your client's home is prepared for selling.

Pricing - Once you have done your homework, you know the market and you know how the key to selling a home is pricing! Make sure that your clients understand the CMA and explain your pricing strategy to them. ( keeping that positive attitude while you do it)

As you can see, these all go hand-in-hand! Now go list and sell some real estate!

Sheila Newton Team -- Anderson & Greenville SC Real Estate - I'd say, Attitude is most important thing - as we have to work with so many different minds. (And MAPP principal should be true for everything in life.)

Hi Sheila. I agree with the others who have said that the greatest of these is Attitude.  I would say that the trickiest is Marketing -- there are so many ways to go with marketing, and the budget is always finite!  If the Attitude and Marketing and in place, Preparing and Pricing should be pretty simple to do.
