This is a great time of year in Red Feather. The Greening kicks off the Holiday shopping season with a craft fair and bake sale.
You can purchase one of a kind Christmas gifts and decorations:, plus cutlery, pottery, jewelry, wreaths, soaps, photography, paintings, leather crafts, metal & wood art, knit & crochet items and so much more!
The Craft Fair will be in the Fellowship Hall at Chapel in the Pines

Cut Your Own Christmas Tree in the Forest near Red Feather Lakes.
The cutting area is open daily from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Permits are available at the site on weekends only and Smokey the Bear will be there from 10a.m.- 2:30p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays!
You can purchase a weekday permit at the Forest Service office at 2150 Center Ave., Building E, in Fort Collins.
Chains or four-wheel-drive vehicles required. No chainsaws are allowed, so bring a hand saw or axe.
From Fort Collins take U.S. Highway 287, 21 miles north to Livermore. At Livermore turn left on to County Road 74E (Red Feather Lakes Road). Follow Red Feather Lakes Road 16 miles and turn left on to County Road 68C (Boy Scout Road). Follow Boy Scout Road for 7 miles. Signs or Forest Service personnel will direct you into the area.
