What Is The Standard Commission Real Estate Agents In Florida Charge

By
Real Estate Agent with Coastal Real Estate - Cape Coral FL SL3150658

What Is The Standard Commission Real Estate Agents In Florida Charge?  Numerous times over the years I have heard the question "What Is The Standard Commission Real Estate Agents In Florida Charge?"  I have been asked this question by potential sellers and I have seen the same question posted on various websites such as Trulia, Homes.com etc...

Reality is there is no such thing as a "standard commission".  Commission rates are negotiable between the seller and the brokerage they list with and it is spelled out in writing in the listing agreement.

If you are considering selling your Lee County, FL property feel free to give me a call at 239-707-4575.  I will be more than happy to discuss our market with you as well as what I charge to list, market and sell your home.

Great point. Consumers may assume there is a standard but in reality they can negotiate.

Good point Terry.  I think we all see one number most of the time and it is mostly unclear to sellers they are able to negotiate.  Mark
