The Franklin, MA real estate market is ending 2014 on a very strong note. Although the holiday season makes things a little quieter for home sales, overall properties have sold more quickly and at a higher price than one year ago.
The graphic shows most sales were in the $300-350K AND the $500-599K ranges. Homes continue to sell about 2% from their asking price as noted on the "list to selling ratio" (SP:LP) column. Homes took a little longer to close in this last quarter--averaging 63 days. The average sale price was $393,527. If your home is worth less than this, of course it should sell much faster if it is priced right and well-maintained.
If you want to learn what your home would sell for in our appreciating real estate market, please give me a call at 508-369-5131 or email franklinmahomes@comcast.net.
