MY INTERVIEW WITH “THAT INTERVIEW GUY,” MICHAEL KRISA
In November, 2011 (I was 67 years old then) I was approached by an innovative realtor and video blog expert to talk with him about how real estate has evolved over the years. Since 1987 when I became a locenced realtor i have seen it change in so many ways. There were no computers or Internet, offers we're typed on an electric typewriter with 6 carbons!! There was no online access to MLS or your local real estate board.
We were provided a book that was published weekly with a small black and white photo of the property and short one or two sentence description. We have evolved to the point of almost going paperless with an iPad and things are so much easier with the elecronic innovations throughout the years. The tools we have today make it so easy to be better agents, it improves time management and provide extra service to our clients, which is first and foremost to me.
Back in 1987 there were no lock boxes either, if I was going to show 5 homes, I would have to go to the all the Listing Brokerage offices, pick up the keys, show the properties, and then return the keys!
I was a little nervous about being in front of a camera talkiing about the changing world of resl estate and how I transitioned and become adept at social media and SEO.
Here is my interview with Michael Krisa, “That Interview Guy” about the world of real estate and how it has changed over the years, and about stepping "out of your comfort zone" and not being afraid of the unknown. If you don't try you will never know how successful you can be... What's the worse that can happen?
Here is my take on real estate today, how it has changed and evolved, the world of social media, and stepping out of your comfort zone..
