This may sound all so bizarre but I got one morning very recently wanting to find a way to give back to my community. I picked up the phone and spoke to a former colleague, also a friend of mine who works for a lender, and who is also affiliated with Homes for Heroes Program and had a conversation about what I was trying to accomplish and about giving back and low and behold she mentioned the Homes for Heroes Program.
I was very excited and I feel unbelievably honored and privileged to have been able to be inducted into the program so that I can give back to all you heroes who sacrifice yourself and your family every day for us.
