This post might be considered a bit brazen because I'm really stepping out of my comfort zone and directly marketing not a product, but rather myself. I'm not looking to sell my services at this time to individual agents as I see a bigger picture here. I'm actually looking for full-time work doing what I do best and that is social media for the real estate industry.
I believe, as I posted previously, that the position of a social media manager will become as common to real estate companies as a secretary or a listing coordinator. I guess I'm once again trying to evolve and remain a bit ahead of the game.
Think about what you currently offer incoming agents. Could a complete online presence set-up from your in-house social media manager be included in that? How about her online classes which offer the new agent strategies on how to utilize the power of social media to further their business? How about training sessions with the social media manager via Skype, Google Hangouts or Wechat?
What if your agent could confidently walk into their next listing appointment with a solid marketing strategy to show their prospective client on how he/she utilizes the social media platforms to their maximum ability thanks to the firm's belief and ability in providing education on a continual basis. Do you have a social media manager? Is it worth the money to hire one and make them a part of the full-time staff? If so then I boldly ask you to look at my LinkedIn profile or my about me profile and contact me if I can assist you with this.
One last thing is this also would cover ALL the company's own presence on social media. It is the future in my mind. Thanks for taking the time to consider this.
