Daylight Savings Time in Arizona

People are always asking why we don’t change our clocks in Arizona.  The best reason I heard is that we don’t want it to be 110 degrees at 10:00 PM at night.  At least if the sun sets an hour or so earlier than that, we can have a little cooling before going to bed.

Instead of running around and changing the 150 clocks and timers throughout the home, there are other things we can do around the house this weekend:

act1.jpgChange the water filter in your refrigerator

Change the batteries in your smoke alarms and radon detectors.act2.jpg

Fertilize your plants.

Clean your pool filters and check for any necessary chemicals.

Give your pool a really good cleaning.

Dust off all your ceiling fans.

If you have other suggestions, please leave them in the comment section to help others.

thanks for sharing Jason, this is actually a great reminder to at least do those same things other states do with the time change.
