Last month we saw a bump in the average sales price following the closing of several record setting new construction homes. Those new homes crested the $700,000 mark, impacting April's numbers. It's natural to see that number pull back a little in May. What caught my attention was the decrease in days on market, which dropped considerably (see April's numbers here). Historical data shows time and time again the most number of homes sell during June, July, August, so the buyers are out there eager to purchase!.
Inventory in Brentwood was also up a notch, partly attributed to the addition of one project entering the MLS in Southern Brentwood.
