The five things I enjoy most about Hartstene Pointe (not necessarily in order)
The beaches; there are 3 1/2 miles of private beach that belongs to the homeowners association and at any given time you can almost have the beach to yourself. My kids and now my grandkids enjoy the beach far beyond I would ever have believed.
Sunset picnics on the spit; it has become a summertime thing to take your picnic and barbecues to the spit and enjoy the beautiful vistas and sunset. After Dark you can also have a bonfire and the smell of driftwood burning is incredible as long as it is contained...
Miles and miles of walking trails; if you prefer to take your morning stroll on trails rather than on the paved roads around the Pointe feel free to enjoy approximately 4 miles of trails featuring incredible views from all around the Pointe. I also seen many deer, raccoon, and foxes on my treks around those trails...
The four public barbecue and restroom areas right next to the water; When you would rather have a family get together with all the conveniences the barbecue areas are a best bet. They're open year-round and they have heated clean men's and women's restrooms ...
A fully functioning marina in Indian Cove; a great place for owners to keep their boats at the ready whenever they feel like taking a cruise, fishing trip for trip to the store. I can take my boat and be at a convenience store within five minutes of the dock. My brother in law and I always kid about our favorite fishing spot which happens to be a store at a marina about 15 minute away by boat. They always have fresh crab and salmon and a great wine and beer selection when the season is open...
There are more things that I feel set Hartstene Pointe far above any other recreational area in Mason County but you'll have to call me so I can take you on a tour. You have to experience the Pointe to enjoy its features fully...
