The main festival takes place on Saturday and Sunday when visitors are invited to Melody Ranch Motion Picture Studio, a real working movie ranch which was formerly owned by Gene Autry. Such singers as Waddie Mitchell, Belinda Gail and Curly Musgrave, Cowbop, Gary McMahan, John Moore Band, Eli Barsi, Pat Richardson, Larry Maurice, Sons and Brothers Band, and the Hot Club of Cowtown will be entertaining the crowd this year .The Cowboy Festival has been consistently recognized as one of the best in the world, taking visitors back in time to enjoy the sights, sounds, and foods of the Old American West. Music, cowboy poerty, food, Western Art auction, and tours of the Melody Ranch are just some of the planned events the whole family can enjoy.
