It is that time when Fall hits to do some basic home checking around the house. Here is a list that I have been working on too. Here are some simple things every homeowner should do. If you aren't able then ask a professional.
Basic tips every homeowner should do on a routine
*Test your smoke detectors & carbon monoxide detectors
*Power wash & Paint the homes exterior when it needs it.
*Wash your windows & check the screens
*Clean your air filters in the house and fridge
*Clean up any clutter in the house, do a garage sale to get rid of excess.
*Clean out the gutters
*Inspect your roof and chimney- ask a professional if it is difficult for you to do.
