Cinco Ranch High School Band Hosts March-a-Thon - August 2015
The Cinco Ranch High School Cougar Band is hosting its annual march-a-thon on Saturday August 15, 2015 from 8 AM until 1 PM. This is an annual fundraising event which will see the band travel several routes through various neighborhoods all located fairly close to Cinco Ranch High School.
The fee for a mini concert along the route is $125 and a song to be played at the Community Concerts is $50. Of course any amount of a donation will be accepted. The march-a-thon will begin at the Band Hall at the school. There is a planned route the band will follow and you can find this route by going to www.cincoranchcougarband.com. Tmes arriving and departing along the route will vary. There are two water stops as you can imagine with this severe heat we are experiencing.
Sponsors this year include Kroger, Chick-fil-A and Terri Gibson Marketing Specialist.
The Cinco Ranch High School Cougar Band needs financial assistance so they can accomplish and participate in all of this year’s band events. Fact is all the arts related school activities need the donations from local residents so they all function for the coming school year. Katy ISD starts its 2015-2016 year on Monday August 24, 2015.
