1. Trenton Thunder
Trenton Thunder is guaranteed fun! It is a great family ball park in Trenton NJ. There are always fun events going on!

Check out this restaurant and brewery serving its own craft beer and locally grown foods. They are located in Princeton, NJ and New hope, Pa.
3. Cycling
As many as 600 bicyclists aged 12 and up are expected at the second annual night-time ride on a six-mile loop along Rosedale Lake, through meadows and under the tree canopy in wooded sections of Mercer Meadows in Hopewell Township.
Advanced registration for every rider in the family is highly recommended at www.lhtrail.org. On-line registration closes at 5 p.m. on August 29, but registrations can be completed in person that evening.
4. Howell Living History Farm
Saturday August 29th from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Howell Living History Farm, a 19th century farmstead nestled in a lush valley, is the ideal setting for an old time traditional fiddle contest. The 27th annual fiddle contest at the farm, the Folk Exchange Fiddle Contest is the largest and longest running traditional fiddle contest in New Jersey, and annually draws some of the best fiddlers from throughout the tri-state region. Fiddlers will be competing for cash prizes. Each fiddler will perform two old-time tunes of varying tempos, and may use up to two accompanists. Also performing at the contest will be the Jugtown Mountain String Band, a traditional old-time acoustic country string band. Free
5. Kayaking
This Friday from 9:30 a.m. to noon. Paddlers of all levels are welcome to join park naturalists for up close encounters with the lake's organisms. Paddle up to the shore line to view wildflowers or float alongside a beaver dam. Kayaks, paddles, life jackets, and binoculars provided. Register. Weather-permitting. $20.
