Oh Boy! In the hubbub of all that's happening this summer I omitted to share the best thing that happened to me, EVER!
On August 16th Pam, my wife, and I celebrated 40 years of marriage. Pam has the patience of a saint. I don't know if anyone had told us what it takes to make a marriage stick we would have believed them.
Here we are at The Common Man Restaurant in Lincoln, NH on our 39th year 364th day of marriage. We were having trouble taking a selfie so the couple across from us offered their assistance. =:o)
We took a long weekend and traveled to Franconia Notch, NH where we lodged at The Franconia Notch Guest House owned by Tom & Pauline Palmer. Pauline is a local Realtor® in the area.

The view from the back porch. Was hoping to see the Black Bears who come to eat the apples on the trees to the right.
Our welcoming instructions
Pauline & Tom cooked, fresh from the chicken, eggs every morning with fresh coffee, sausages, yogurt, fresh fruit and more. We could not have picked a more relaxed and friendly setting. When you visit the White Mountains of NH make it a point to book a few days at The Franconia Notch Guest House!
SOOOO... To my wife of 40 years I pray we have many more.
