On this day, I would like to pause and give a moment of silence to give respect to the date of September 11th, 2001. It is a day which will forever live on in my heart with solemn memories. I pray that our country will never have to go through such a tragedy as this ever again.

I think about the tragic loss of life on that day, but I also remember the heroic airline passengers on United Flight 93 who fought back over Pennsylvania once they realized what was happening. There is a National Memorial at the site where they crashed in rural western PA at http://www.nps.gov/flni/index.htm
