Learn water-saving techniques, the basics of effective irrigation, and how to prioritize your landscape needs to meet water restrictions. Plus, Sweetwater Authority will offer helpful drought updates.

How to Hire a Landscape Contractor & Save $$$

Experience an informative, common-sense approach to hiring a landscape professional. You'll learn which questions to ask, how to properly plan, and receive money-saving tips too! Class made possible by the San Diego County Watershed Protection Program.

Irrigation 101 

Saturday, October 24th, 10:00 am - 12:00 pm 

Tune up your irrigation system to save water and money! Landscape designer Jan Tubiolo offers tips for retrofitting existing systems and installing a basic drip system. Great for the irrigation challenged! Plus, the City of San Diego will offer helpful drought updates.

The Garden's Fall Plantstravaganza returns with plant sales, gardening workshops, "Ask the Designer" landscape consultations and advice from partner water agencies on how to save water while maintaining a beautiful yard. Milkweed at The Garden

Attract Monarch butterflies to your garden with native and tropical milkweed. We have three varieties of 
milkweed in the Gift Shop: two native and one non-native 
to Southern California.
