The real estate market has always been changing, that is why it such an interesting profession.
Now more than ever, it can be very rewarding, but at the same time, Very challenging.With the
lending policies having changed recently, and so much of the country in forclosure difficulties, we
are asked daily to explain our local market.. The Lynchburg area has remained much steadier than
other areas, as far as appreciation or depreciation. Presently we are steady,Our area is one of the most
affordable in the state for housing. I feel we have so many positive reasons for this.. 4 Local colleges,
the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains, Smith Mountain Lake, Many Historical Attractions, Only hours from the coast
or from DC, and also, many thriving local industries. Plus, many passers thru say we are a friendly state !
