Wind Mitigation Inspection in Florida can save you money.

Good morning Donald Urschalitz.  Interesting information  --- it is a lot different in other areas.  Although the home I built for my mom was in the mountains of Wyoming, i tried to follow codes from Florida and California to make certain that she would not have future problems.  Both states are tough with the codes and I think most of the items are important.

Many inspectors can do this inspection while doing the regular home inspection.  And, typically will offer a discount if done simultaneously.  This is what I suggest for my customers.

I had no idea. We get some pretty horrific rain and windstorms in Sacramento during the winter, but I am not aware of any kind of precaution inspections here that are as thorough as the Wind inspection you suggest for Florida.
