MESA COUNTY COLORADO REAL ESTATE MARKET UPDATE SEPTEMBER 2015
Information provided courtesy of Land Title Guarantee Company tells us that total real estate sales in Mesa County for Year to Date as compared to the same period last year is UP 22.85% at a total sales volume of $723,754,388. Total sales for September of 2015 were at $72,234,686 which is UP just over 2% from the volume of $70,696,515 for September of 2014. The average residential sales price in September 2015 was $217,887 with an average YTD residential sales price of $217,744. The median price for residential purchases for September of 2015 is $204,000 with a YTD median price of $193,000, still much lower than our 2014 median price of $225,000. Total transactions in September were 330 which is slightly down from the # of 336 transactions in August 2015 but up from the # of 310 transactions in September of 2014. YTD transactions of 2989 is up nearly 11% from YTD this time in 2014.
